Great little find as we strolled along looking for something to eat. Fabulous pizza and Calzones. Great old time background music like Elvis and Frank Sinatra. It’s like a diner but for all things pizza. Loved it.

I really like the italian feast pizza slice. It taste just like what I want from sausage pepper and onions. The old fashion pepperoni is good. Fountain rootbeer soda was okay.

Famous Ben’s Pizza in Soho remains one of those rare New York institutions that never lost its pulse. It is gloriously ungentrified, the kind of place where the sauce tastes like it’s been simmering since the seventies and the air hums with honest conversation. The staff moves with the unhurried confidence of people who actually know what they’re doing. While the new breed of neon-lit, influencer-ready slice shops fumble with their contrivances, Ben’s just keeps slinging perfect slices—thin, crisp, and balanced. There’s nothing performative about it, no nonsense about sourdough starter or “heritage mozzarella.” It’s old New York, the kind I remember and still revere. Walking in feels like returning to a time when pizza was simply good food served by people who cared. If you want the real thing, not a carefully branded imitation, Famous Ben’s is where you go.

Well we don't come here for the service. The atmosphere is a classic New York pizza shop. The food is great- I think it's the best pizza in NY and of course their Palermo slice is one unique feature. Always seeing a celebrity or two when you go into this spot. Enjoy!
